Volunteer Opportunities

The More You Give, The More You Receive

Volunteers are people of diverse ages and from various walks of life. They enjoy being of service, helping others and meeting new friends. Central Florida Health Alliance offers more than 20 different areas where volunteers may serve in our hospitals, Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Medical Center.

Our hospital volunteers add an extra dimension to our patient care. They perform a variety of activities within the hospital to enhance the care such as delivering newspapers, flowers and mail to patients. Volunteers also greet family and friends, lend a helping hand, and assist guests to find the location they are looking for.

How Do I Get Involved?

To become part of this wonderful service and to brighten someone’s day, a volunteer will need to do the following:

    • To volunteer at The Villages Regional Hospital, please call
      (352) 751-8622.
  • Complete an application
  • Attend an orientation session to become familiar with your hospital
  • Complete a minimum training period
